XLML can be used as an external authoring tool for the learning management
system
ILIAS open source. In
ILIAS 3 the XLML documents can be imported as SCORM packages in a standardized
way. However, we are working on a tighter integration, supporting more ILIAS
features with the imported content (like in ILIAS 2).
Patches for ILIAS 2 enabling the import and use of XLML documents can be
found in the
download section. The import
function recognizes the course structure and supports all content relates
functions of ILIAS 2:
